Teach (and Feed) Your Children Well (Hour 2)
It’s hard to believe we still live in an era where grown adults are comfortable with the notion that some kids go hungry while they’re at school. We’ll talk to Rep. Moms Seeking Certainty on Abortion Laws (Hour 2)
In today’s “Motherhood Monday” segment, we visit with a representative from Planned Parenthood Action of Wisconsin to help women understand why a recent judge’s ruling didn’t immediately restore abortion access and comprehensive healthcare rights in our state.
Childcare Crisis Can’t Be Wished Away (Hour 2)
Childcare providers aren’t letting a middle-of-the-night vote by some Republican legislators stop them from trying to rescue a vital program that also addresses the state’s labor shortage. They’re joining parents and business leaders in putting pressure on lawmakers to restore the Child Care Counts support that a GOP-controlled committee killed. Our Motherhood Monday segment also looks at the pressure moms are putting on legislators to adopt basic gun safety protections.

Let Them Hear You (Hour 2)
It’s Motherhood Monday, when our friends from Motherhood for Good join us to tell busy moms how important it is to stay on top of current events and keep your elected officials honest. This time, they discuss the urgency of telling politicians in Congress and the Legislature to stop blocking common-sense gun safety measures that have overwhelming public support.
