MILWAUKEE, Wis. (Civic Media) – A speech by Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance to accept the vice presidential nomination is among the highlights of the third day of the Republican National Convention.
Several prominent Republican figures, including members of presidential nominee Donald Trump, are also scheduled to speak on Wednesday in Milwaukee.
Donald Trump, Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle are listed among Wednesday’s speakers. Republican governors Greg Abbott of Texas and Doug Burgum of North Dakota, the latter of whom was mentioned as a possible VP pick, are also on the schedule.
Seven different Congressional representatives, including four from Florida, will take the stage. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former Immigration and Customs Enforcement Acting Director Thomas Homan, and former U.S. Office of Trade & Manufacturing Director Peter Navarro are on the list as well.
On Tuesday, multiple former Republican presidential candidates spoke in support of Trump, including Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, and Vivek Ramaswamy.
Wisconsin Senate candidate Eric Hovde and host committee chairman Reince Priebus, who is from Wisconsin, also spoke on Tuesday.
On Monday, speakers included Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, and RNC chair Michael Whatley.
Also on Monday, Donald Trump announced Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance as his running mate. Trump was officially nominated as the Republican presidential candidate by the RNC. The nomination came just two days after an apparent assassination attempt of Trump in western Pennsylvania.
Vance will be the final speaker Wednesday at the RNC. Here is the list of people expected to speak on the third day of the RNC, according to the RNC Committee on Arrangements:
