Jimmie is Civic Media's Sports Director, content writer and producer, occasional fill-in host, and one of the company's news anchors. Jimmie is a longtime sports broadcaster in Wisconsin, having worked everywhere from Milwaukee and Madison to the Northwoods and the Chippewa Valley. Currently, he is UW-Platteville's sports broadcaster in southwestern Wisconsin and covers Civic Media news for the Driftless Area, including leading the news bureau at WLCX in La Crosse. Before joining Civic Media, Jimmie led digital efforts for stations at iHeartMedia and Gray Television. In addition to his longtime roles in media, Jimmie is a high school football coach, media freelancer for print and radio, and community volunteer. He also serves on a school board and has been a longtime advocate for youth mentorship, earning recognition from Big Brothers Big Sisters. Jimmie's claim to fame is that Kwik Trip has replied to him three times, and even re-shared one of his posts in 2024.
