To begin this hour, the Todd Allbaugh Show welcomes Sean Hanish, Director/Producer of Just A Bit Outside: The Story of the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers, joined us to talk about Bob Uecker's legacy.
After that, the Earl Ingram Show catches up with Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul to talk about the role of the Attorney General and how the state is looking to tackle gun safety and protect reproductive rights.
Then, the Maggie Daun Show is joined by Dom Salvia for "In Case You Missed It," continuing the discussion about Donald Trump's historic sentencing today for fraud in New York, especially Trump's attorney's statement that there should never be any politically motivated prosecutions - you don't say, Todd. Anders shares how he and his brother got the idea for Green and Gold, and what it took to make the film. Anders and the film crew shot the film in Door County, with the farmers and towns behind the film.

Kicking off the hour, Matenaer On Air speaks about what took place at the US Capitol 4 years ago and why we need to always remember the actions of those who tried to stand in the way of our elections and never give into the rewriting of those who stood by, supported and/or participated as "patriots" or "hostages".
After that on Nite Lite with Pete Schwaba, Madison Musician, Katie Scullin joins the show. Katie talks about what she has been doing over the past couple months. Katie shares she is writing and recording music for an album! Katie sings a song live in the studio titled "Sweet Escape."
Following that, the Earl Ingram Show is joined by Attorney Roy Evans, Earl and Roy discuss the history behind the necessity for DEI and affirmative action programs in the lead up to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday.
Finally, Landon Jones from his company RSPKT joins Maino & the Mayor to talk about the commercial he created for Doritos to air during the Super Bowl! Born and raised in Green Bay, he's a semi-finalist with 24 other creators, and if his commercial is chosen, it WILL air during the game, and he will receive a million-dollar prize! Kicking off this weekend's Civic Media Spotlight, Jane, Greg and Calvin talk about whether they make New Year's Resolutions and what effect they have on us if we don't follow through. We take calls and read texts from the listeners on this and give advice on how to reach goals for yourself.
Then, Green Bay based comedian John Egan joins Nite Lite with Pete Schwaba. John talks about the stand-up scene in Green Bay and De Pere. Pete and John share stories from around the state in comedy, and John talks about new dates coming up!
Following that on the Todd Allbaugh Show, Todd updates listeners on the tragic attack in New Orleans in the early hours of New Year's Day. His focus in this segment is on the Fox News coverage. They made up lies about the alleged perpetrator before anybody really had any information, stating that he was an illegal immigrant and this is all Joe Biden's fault. In reality, he was a citizen of Texas and an Afghanistan veteran. Todd emphasizes the importance of truth, and how Fox News has continually failed to reach that goal.
Wrapping up the first hour, on The Maggie Daun Show guest hosted by Dan Shafer, Dan is joined by BLOC’s Angela Lang and Law Forward’s Jeff Mandell to discuss the complexities of ACT 10 and its repeal. Enacted in Wisconsin in 2011, ACT 10 severely limited public sector unions' collective bargaining rights, sparking protests and debates over workers' rights.

First up on Spotlight, Nite Lite is joined by Greg Schwem, Nationally Syndicated Tribune Columnist, joins the show. Greg talks about a new book he wrote, Turning Gut Punches Into Punch Lines: A Comedian's Journey Through Cancer, Divorce and Other Hilarious Stuff. Pete and Greg talk about a new Major League Baseball rule, and other articles that Greg has written.
On UpNorthNews with Pat Kreitlow, the electors who decide each presidential election gathered in state capitols this week, and one of Donald Trump’s Wisconsin electors, former Gov. Tommy Thompson, said it’s time for everyone to “turn the page” on Trump’s fake electors plot to steal the 2020 election. Pat Kreitlow responds: Hell, no. Trump can pardon in federal cases, but state cases like the one in Wisconsin need to keep moving toward justice for the voters.
On the Earl Ingram Show, Earl is joined by John Diedrich from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel to discuss his article regarding a woman who's son accidentally shot himself in the hand with her gun. They talk about the effect that her charges have had on her life and the racial disparities surrounding youth gun injuries and deaths.
Finally, on Matenaer On Air, US Representative Mark Pocan joins the show to talk about the tragic shooting in Madison and discusses some of the paths which need to be taken to try to create change. He also reveals a horrendous truth about news, and the need for more deaths to be deemed "important to cover".

Then, in honor of playoff baseball, Maggie talks with the youngest living player to run the bases with the Negro Leagues, Dennis Biddle. Mr. Biddle shares some of his most impactful experiences on the diamond and in his life since. He started Yesterday's Negro league Baseball Players Foundation in 1996 to support players and their legacies.
Next, Charles Franklin Professor of Law and Public Policy and Director of the Marquette Law School Poll joins the Dom Salvia Show for a half hour the day of his most recent poll dropping. Charles brings some good news for the Harris-Walz ticket and for Tammy Baldwin in the most recent poll.

Civic Media Spotlight for August 3rd & 4th (Hour 2)
Up first this hour, Air Force Veteran Roy Rogers joins Jim and John to talk a bit about his experience in the military, which includes the story of stepping on a land mine in combat and losing part of his hand. But also shares an extremely interesting and funny story about his "famous" name. It involves George Washington, Anita Bryant and outhouses.. An amazing story! You've gotta listen!
Then, Busted Pencils has a conversation with Dr. Joe Gothard, incoming superintendent of the Madison Metropolitan School District about equity and excellence. Dr Gothard shares his commitment to elevating both equity AND excellence for all students in the district. He has a strong history of doing just that in his previous role as superintendent of the St. Paul School District of Minnesota. In this segment, Dr. Gothard shares his experiences from Spring 2020, a tumultuous time he navigated as a leader with the Covid pandemic unfolding and the social turmoil following the murder of George Floyd. In his experiences, Dr. Joe has developed a simple question he asks constantly that cuts to the heart of education's purpose: how are the children?
The week ends with a segment from Nite Lite with Pete Schawaba, when he was joined by comedian, actor, and artist Steve Seagren joins the show. Pete and Steve talk Wiffleball, what Steve is painting, and then shares songs that he can be happy never hearing again.
