Supporting Veterans At Kopke’s Greenhouse (Hour 1)
Today, Todd broadcasts live from Kopke’s Greenhouse just outside of Oregon, Wisconsin! The founder and owner, Gordy Kopke, has made a name for himself by selling the highest quality products and providing excellent customer service. His business gets a substantial amount of their electricity from four solar panel arrays, and they are dedicated to giving back to the community in meaningful ways. Every year, they run a planter auction to support our veterans through Badger Honor Flight.
We kick off the show with our usual Wednesday guests, Pat Kreitlow of Mornings with Pat Kreitlow and Trygve Olson of The Lincoln Project. After a brief recap of the day’s political news, they share their remembrances for Memorial Day.
At the bottom of the hour, Todd is joined by Gordy Kopke himself to share some of the history of Kopke’s Greenhouse and this weekend’s fundraiser. If you can’t make it to the event and still want to support Badger Honor Flight this Sunday, you can call 608-835-7569 to either bid over the phone or make a direct credit card donation.
Civic Media is proud to have Kopke’s Greenhouse as a sponsor. Gordy and his company are part of what makes Wisconsin great.

Just when you thought we didn't have to think about elections. Well, sorry...that's not the case. Judge Chris Taylor will be running against the incumbent in 2026. On top of that, former candidate for the First Congressional District, Randy Bryce is running for congress...again. In other news, America's credit rating has been lowered and mortgage interest rates are rising, so way to go on trying catch that Dream. Next, fresh off his vacation, The European Galivanter Pat Kreitlow joins us to talk about his trip overseas and catch up with the news like Ron Johnson and his concerns about the "Big Beautiful Bill" and the gutting of Medicaid.

Adams County Attempts To Overturn An Election (Hour 1)
It took a few tries, but we have finally reunited Pat Kreitlow of the conveniently-named morning drive time radio program Mornings with Pat Kreitlow and Trygve Olson of The Lincoln Project at our new time of 2-4 pm.
Right off the bat, Pat shares some news from the Capitol building in Madison. A hearing had to be adjourned due to disruptive behavior from Democrats. Pat, Todd, and Trygve agree that some decorum should be maintained, but some of our texters disagree.
In other Wisconsin news, according to WPR, the Adams County Board is attempting to overturn a legitimate election for their treasurer.

Investing In Our Kids Is Common Sense (Hour 2)
Our producer Aaron is back today, which lines up perfectly with the latest edition of What’s Worse: sweating or shivering? We also call Pat Kreitlow live on the air to ask about a scheduling issue, and hilarity ensues.
At the bottom of the hour, Matt Raboin of Brix Cider and Corrine Hendrickson of Corrine’s Little Explorers join us to talk about the dire state of childcare in Wisconsin. Despite plentiful research demonstrating the incredible economic return when the government invests in childcare, states like ours are refusing to contribute any money. Tonight, Main Street Alliance is holding a Community Conversation about Child Care at Brix Cider in Mt. Horeb at 6 pm. (note: while normally closed on Tuesdays, Brix is indeed open tonight for this event.)

Can’t You Take A Joke? (Hour 1)
The Felon President had an interview this week and when asked about small businesses, well, you can read it for yourself here. And Catholics have a great sense of humor, just as the president who posted a very offensive image this week, but don't worry...we all need to lighten up. And he's back! The host of Mornings With Pat Kreitlow joins us to talk about Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and this thoughts on how to fix all the problem in the airline world.

Trump’s Economy Is A Failure (Hour 1)
Pat Kreitlow of the conveniently-named morning drive time radio program Mornings with Pat Kreitlow has made the migration with us to our new time of 2-4! We start off with a story from Fox News about our GDP, which is declining for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic. The economy is sliding so far that not even Fox News hosts can try to spin it in a positive manner. On the other hand, Trump himself can’t seem to stop lying and making excuses.

Also joining us are Park Manager Mike Ring and Drew Howick, President of Friends of Governor Nelson State Park. Head over to friendsofgovnelson.org to learn about this new advocacy organization.
At the bottom of the hour, former Republican State Senator Rob Cowles joins us to talk about the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program, another important part of what keeps our Wisconsin environments clean and healthy.

Ron Johnson’s Conspiracy Spiral (Hour 1)
Well, here we are again, right were we started. The state legislature is taking up a bill to expand Medicaid to new moms for up to a year. We don't want to repeat ourselves, but this bill is wildly popular and bipartisan, so what does it say about Robin Vos when he won't even bring it up for a vote? And have you seen Kristi Noem's purse? It was stolen this weekend and packed with very unique items. We then welcome the host of the new Mornings With Pat Kreitlow, Mr. Pat Kreitlow. We're talking about the very topical concerns of US Senator Ron Johnson.

We talk to Pat Kreitlow about the upcoming programming changes to Civic Media and the added third hour of his show starting next Wednesday plus more. A beautiful start to the morning but some rain coming soon and we find out how much with meteorologist Brittney Merlot. Plus, a judge sounds like he is running out of patience with the Trump Administration ignoring a court order when it comes to flights to El Salvador.
