Pat Kreitlow
Civic Media Spotlight for the Weekend of April 12th & 13th (Hour 2)
First up this hour, Earl shares the story of the upcoming annual Special Needs Prom coming up at Washington High School on the Earl Ingram Show. The event is one of the most anticipated events of the year. This year, they are turning the cafeteria into a stunning Emerald City. In its 22nd year, this beloved occasion promotes inclusion and provides a catered dinner, elegant attire, and an evening filled with unforgettable happiness for students with special needs.
After that, John and Gordy in the Morning welcome back Mike McCabe to talk with the show about Byron Kilbourn, a Wisconsin politician from the 1800s, and the parallels between him and Elon Musk with corruption and money in politics.
Next, UpNorthNews Radio with Pat Kreitlow talks rural healthcare. Even as more rural hospitals close and corporate medicine shrinks its local footprints, a group in the Chippewa Valley believes the time has come to return to a hospital model based on local, nonprofit, independent ownership. If they succeed in replacing hospitals that closed last year in Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls, will it be a blueprint for restoring healthcare options around the rest of the state?
And last but not least, Dan Shafer joins the Maggie Daun Show to discuss the breaking news that Ben Wikler will not be re-running for WI Democrats chair. Dan provides some background on Wikler and discusses possible names that could run for the position.

This Tuesday, Pat Kreitlow of UpNorthNews Radio returns to gather up the latest news. One of the biggest stories both state- and nationwide is the Trump administration’s immediate revocation of many student visas. Allegedly, these revocations have nothing to do with protest participation or “terrorist” affiliation, leaving only naked racism as the culprit. This same situation is playing out at universities around America.

It’s No Joke: Be A Voter Today with Pat Kreitlow (Hour 1)
Finally, after two and a half years, Todd has successfully infiltrated the woke den of liberal indoctrination that is Civic Media. Just kidding! Pat Kreitlow of UpNorthNews Radio joins us this Tuesday, April first to talk about something that isn’t a joke: today’s election for state supreme court and state superintendent.
Lately, Civic Media has been running several political ads endorsing Brad Schimel. While we as a company do not endorse him, we are legally obligated to run all ads submitted by political candidates. Todd breaks down the lies in one of the most egregiously false ads running on our network.

Secretary Pete Hegseth Is Putting All Of Us In Danger (Hour 1)
Pat Kreitlow of UpNorthNews Radio is officially sick of Trygve Olson’s age jokes. Henceforth, he shall join us on Tuesdays. (In reality, he now has a meeting that conflicts with our Wednesday show, but Trygve doesn’t need to know that.)
This morning, Dan Bice published a new article in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Elon Musk is paying people $25/hr to knock on doors for Brad Schimel, but it seems that he’s not actually making sure they know anything about the candidate or the race.
Todd and Pat wrap up their time together with a recap of the latest excitement in college hockey and basketball tournaments.
At the bottom of the hour, Todd talks us through the latest goof from Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. Hegseth accidentally added a journalist to a Signal group chat about imminent war plans. No, this is not a joke. The military actions discussed in the chat were carried out shortly thereafter.

Civic Media Spotlight for March 22nd & 23rd (Hour 1)
First this weekend, we check out a conversation between the Maggie Daun Show and Dr. Melinda Brennan, Executive Director of the Wisconsin ACLU. Dr. Brennan joins Maggie to discuss how the current immigration practices will affect Wisconsin's economy and why all of us should care how immigrants are cared for.
Then, on UpNorthNews Radio, Pat Kreitlow answers a listener’s question about the difference between billionaire Elon Musk backing Brad Schimel in the state Supreme Court race and billionaire George Soros backing Susan Crawford. The answer gets to the heart of whether any one super-rich business owner should be able to try to purchase justices to sway cases toward their own businesses and profits.
After that, on Matenaer On Air, the show speaks with Dave Wilde who suffers from MS, as well as Autism and he shares his story of receiving Medicare and Medicaid benefits and the shameful way he, along with others, were treated to get those benefits. He also speaks on how difficult some states make it to receive benefits and sometimes in embarrassing and borderline dehumanizing fashions.
Last for this hour, Trygve Olson of The Lincoln Project joins the Todd Allbaugh Show to discuss the effects that Trump's tariffs will have on Wisconsinites. A mind-boggling 10% of Wisconsin jobs will be directly impacted, and 77% of those folks voted for Trump. What do they get? A big middle finger.
