MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (Civic Media) – The frozen food delivery company we all used to call Schwan’s is shutting down.
Today, the company is called Yelloh. Some trucks still have the old Schwan’s decal outlines after the name change.
Minnesota-based Yelloh said they’ll be getting out of the frozen food delivery business in November. The company first started in 1952.
Across Wisconsin, 79 people will lose their jobs. The company blames problems with staffing and the food supply chain.
The company employs about 1,100 people nationwide. Their last day in business is November 8.
