Joe Zepecki
Trouble for Trump (Hour 1)
We’ll talk to Democratic strategist Joe Zepecki about Tuesday’s election results, including a number not getting the attention it should: the high number of Republican voters who refused to cast a ballot for former President Trump.
An Unserious Candidate (Hour 1)
Our weekly visit with Democratic strategist Joe Zepecki includes the question of whether Eric Hovde is a serious candidate for US Senate based on his approach to some current challenges—and some of the unusual things he had to say last time he ran for Senate in 2012.
Nobody’s Senator But Russia’s (Hour 1)
The congressional attempt to impeach President Joe Biden blew up in Republicans’ faces Wednesday when a former associate to Rudy Giuliani testified about how the Trump campaign and others—including Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson—were willing purveyors of disinformation that frequently originated with Russian efforts to manipulate American voters.

Rude, Crude, Bad Attitude (1st Hour)
This week’s final session in the Wisconsin Legislature was even worse than first thought. We’ll talk to Joe Zepecki about the pettiness and pointlessness of some of what they did—and the little trick Republicans pulled before starting a nine-month paid vacation.
Peep show debate
Joe Zepecki sticks around after being bumped by the President to talk about Joe Biden's speech in Milwaukee today, and the danger Trump presents if reelected. Then, with both Trump and Biden set as the presidential nominees for this November, there's just one question left: should the meet up together for a debate?
On one hand, it COULD be a good chance for Biden to really hammer Trump on his fascist tendencies. On the other, Trump will just lie the entire time, and without a constant fact check, it could just be a waste of time. Crute is all for it, Dom is against it. Let's fight!

Eric Hovde Hates Beer
Dom joins us in Madison once again to relive his Libertarian college days. Eric Hovde also claims to be Libertarian... but he thinks alcohol should be illegal. How does he expect to get elected in Wisconsin? Dom and Crute unpack the Californian nonsense.
After that discussion, the Devils welcome Joe Zepecki to celebrate Biden's successful State of the Union address.
Live from Milwaukee, we also hear some remarks from President Biden on investing in America.

A Season for Storytelling (1st Hour)
A bridge can be more than just a bridge. And the State of the Union address is more than just a speech. Expect President Biden to tell stories about how things like a bridge project can change lives—after all, they’ve already produced a 5-minute video on how the Blatnik Bridge in Superior will do just that.
Another 10-Month Paid Vacation (1st Hour)
Wisconsin is among a minority of states that still classifies its legislature as full-time, including a full-time salary—even as Republicans who control the Assembly and Senate again wrap up their legislating by March. As they embark on a 10-month taxpayer-funded vacation, we’ll review what little they got done and the unfinished business that might stay that way until 2025.
Work Horses and Show Ponies (1st Hour)
Democrats at the state Capitol introduce a paid family leave plan, while Republicans try again to pass a tax plan favoring the wealthy. We’ll review Congressman Mike Gallagher’s plan to quit, even as GOP lawmakers take a two-week break—with the clock ticking toward their latest threat of a government shutdown.
