Weekly Best of Todd Allbaugh Show for Dec 21
From Wednesday's show: Why We Can’t Just “Move On” From 2020 (Hour 1)
It’s Wednesday, and that means Pat Kreitlow of UpNorthNews Radio is here! At the beginning of the show, Todd brings us the latest updates on Monday’s shooting at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison. Investigations on the shooter’s family suggest a broken home life, but as Pat reminds us, there are broken homes and strained relationships all around the world. What other countries don’t have is America’s wide access to firearms.
From Thursday's show: Why We Should Expand Badgercare (Hour 1)
At the bottom of the hour, we are joined by Shawn Phetteplace, the Campaigns Director of Main Street Alliance! He tells us all about Main Street Alliance and how it differs from other organizations like Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce. While WMC primarily supports larger companies, MSA seeks to prop up a more diverse range of small businesses. They are part of what makes Wisconsin great.
Wisconsin is one of only ten states that haven’t accepted new federal funding to expand Medicaid over the last ten years. One of MSA’s current objectives is to help convince our state government to do the right thing and support Badgercare. This directly hurts small business owners and employees in our state.

Why We Should Expand Badgercare (Hour 1)
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Nearly every single county in Wisconsin is under some sort of Winter weather advisory. Todd updates us on where the biggest storms are headed and what driving conditions are like. Almost all roads around the state are under ice and/or snow, so drive slowly and safely!
Recently, a Dane County circuit judge struck down significant portions of Act 10. However, yesterday afternoon, this decision was put on hold while GOP legislators are working to appeal the case. It’s not over until it’s over, and this ruling is very much up in the air.
In other news, Todd has found himself agreeing with Republicans! This doesn’t happen often, but this time, it has to do with allocation of funds for UW schools. Once again, Jay Rothman and the UW Board of Regents are operating in secret, and it sure looks like they’re choking out our university system.
