The Most “Friday” Friday We’ve Had (Hour 2)
At the beginning of our second hour, we are thrilled to be joined by Brian Ziegler, Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Badger Honor Flight! Many veterans find themselves unable to afford visits to memorials dedicated to their fallen comrades. Badger Honor Flight is part of a nonprofit network dedicated to flying vets out to these memorials at no cost to them.
This Memorial Day weekend, Kopke’s Greenhouse is holding a brat fry and planter auction to support Badger Honor Flight. The brat fry runs all weekend, but the auction is Sunday afternoon. If you can’t make it to the event and still want to support Badger Honor Flight this Sunday, you can call 608-835-7569 to either bid over the phone or make a direct credit card donation.
At the bottom of the hour, eBaum’s World Managing Editor Peter Rapine returns for another week in review! As always, these are real headlines of crazy things people have done. From DoorDashing on an airplane tarmac to the loudest belches in the world, Peter brings us some truly excellent audio.

Today, Todd joins us live from the lovely Kreitlow compound on Lake Wissota! Pat Kreitlow of Mornings With Pat Kreitlow and Civic Media News Northwestern WI Bureau Chief James Kelly join Todd on the back porch to talk about how national politics are affecting rural Wisconsin. They also talk about how important it is to genuinely connect with people, both for our own health and to better communicate the state of the world with them.
At the bottom of the hour, former NFL fullback and three time Badger B1G champion Bradie Ewing continues the theme of community building. Bradie’s focus is more on teambuilding in sports. In his view, a team is stronger if they can become a family.

Supporting Veterans At Kopke’s Greenhouse (Hour 1)
Today, Todd broadcasts live from Kopke’s Greenhouse just outside of Oregon, Wisconsin! The founder and owner, Gordy Kopke, has made a name for himself by selling the highest quality products and providing excellent customer service. His business gets a substantial amount of their electricity from four solar panel arrays, and they are dedicated to giving back to the community in meaningful ways. Every year, they run a planter auction to support our veterans through Badger Honor Flight.
We kick off the show with our usual Wednesday guests, Pat Kreitlow of Mornings with Pat Kreitlow and Trygve Olson of The Lincoln Project. After a brief recap of the day’s political news, they share their remembrances for Memorial Day.
At the bottom of the hour, Todd is joined by Gordy Kopke himself to share some of the history of Kopke’s Greenhouse and this weekend’s fundraiser. If you can’t make it to the event and still want to support Badger Honor Flight this Sunday, you can call 608-835-7569 to either bid over the phone or make a direct credit card donation.

Adams County Attempts To Overturn An Election (Hour 1)
It took a few tries, but we have finally reunited Pat Kreitlow of the conveniently-named morning drive time radio program Mornings with Pat Kreitlow and Trygve Olson of The Lincoln Project at our new time of 2-4 pm.
Right off the bat, Pat shares some news from the Capitol building in Madison. A hearing had to be adjourned due to disruptive behavior from Democrats. Pat, Todd, and Trygve agree that some decorum should be maintained, but some of our texters disagree.
In other Wisconsin news, according to WPR, the Adams County Board is attempting to overturn a legitimate election for their treasurer.

Investing In Our Kids Is Common Sense (Hour 2)
Our producer Aaron is back today, which lines up perfectly with the latest edition of What’s Worse: sweating or shivering? We also call Pat Kreitlow live on the air to ask about a scheduling issue, and hilarity ensues.
At the bottom of the hour, Matt Raboin of Brix Cider and Corrine Hendrickson of Corrine’s Little Explorers join us to talk about the dire state of childcare in Wisconsin. Despite plentiful research demonstrating the incredible economic return when the government invests in childcare, states like ours are refusing to contribute any money. Tonight, Main Street Alliance is holding a Community Conversation about Child Care at Brix Cider in Mt. Horeb at 6 pm. (note: while normally closed on Tuesdays, Brix is indeed open tonight for this event.)

The host of Mornings With Pat Kreitlow joins us to talk about Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and this thoughts on how to fix all the problem in the airline world.

Trump’s Economy Is A Failure (Hour 1)
Pat Kreitlow of the conveniently-named morning drive time radio program Mornings with Pat Kreitlow has made the migration with us to our new time of 2-4! We start off with a story from Fox News about our GDP, which is declining for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic. The economy is sliding so far that not even Fox News hosts can try to spin it in a positive manner. On the other hand, Trump himself can’t seem to stop lying and making excuses.
