Is Summer Winding Down? (Hour 2)

August 16, 2024

Heather Heil continues as guest host and we welcome Mark Husen in the studio from Bellin Sports Medicine. They talk about the changes in our routines this time of year. From workouts, to getting the proper amount of rest. From adjusting to school and work schedule changes, it all is worthy of a bit of thought. Somehow, the topic of linens comes up. Then Officer Craig Carlson from the Green Bay Police department joins us on the phone, LIVE and on location from a fundraising event that he's a part of this morning. (He's ON TOP of the Dunkin' Donuts!) The officers are raising money for the Special Olympics.

Guns and Responsibility (Hour 2)

June 8, 2023

There is overwhelming public support for some basic gun safety proposals because there is overwhelming support for responsible gun ownership rather than encouraging a Wild West culture that endangers our kids and our law enforcement officers. A Green Bay police officer talks about it in this week’s Hometown Health segment. And state Assembly Rep. Deb Andraca talks about how the GOP majority is engaged in hypocrisy and double-speak on supporting cops but opposing the measures that could keep them safer.
