With a plan, gotta go on to f-
Yeah, it used to be scandalous.
He meets with Mahdi Modi, the head of India, and has a private conversation with him, which is all about the matters that he has business interests in India about, or at least in all likelihood, that was the subject of the conversations.
That's what I was saying.
What's happened is that this current populist movement that's headed by Donald Trump is taking on maybe K Street and corporate interests in terms of being the private big money that was having a big impact on government.
But what's happened is now we have
essentially oligarchs the terribly wealthy who are controlling government it's not just that they're influencing government they're actually controlling it they're participating in government it's not that they're meeting with senators and congress people and trying to affect legislation no they're actually out front controlling public policy participating in the government itself it's it's there's never been anything like this
rank and file American who voted for Donald Trump, understands what is transpiring now.
Do you think they really understand the complexities of what is taking place that they may not understand because it is pretty complex?
And yet they're still saying I'm still with him.
He's still my guy.
I voted for him to, you know, to.
It transformed the government
Well, it's it's almost like the baby gasoline that bonds to the the goose, you know, they've they've bonded to this guy and Now anything and everything that he's doing seems to be acceptable to the manga because it's he is the party not
policy.
And they all knew during the campaign that he was saying everything and that the policy he was going to implement was altogether ambiguous.
And so they've all imprinted on him.
It's uncanny.
But now what's going on is actually, I think, too complicated in a way for anybody to understand because
For instance, Elon Musk and what he's doing in the agencies is entirely not transparent, going in and looking at all the records and getting AI to analyze all the records and then taking action based on public allegations of fraud and corruption when in fact there's been no transparency establishing anything like fraud or corruption, you know, whether they found some, maybe they have, but what
The president is talking about what Alon Musk is talking about when they describe something as corrupt or fraudulent is simply programmatic money that they disagree with, which is policy.
So.
So Mark says, yeah, Earl, average rank and file guy here understands it all.
Nice try being condescending.
Tony responds, people who follow.
follow it closely, have a hard time understanding the scale and effects of the cuts.
The everyday person has no idea what's going on.
Mark, so Sandy, this is not being condescending.
The magnitude of the decisions and the things that are happening right now, Mark can say that the average guy understands it.
He can't, he doesn't.
Because the average guy is trapped like me.
We're trying to make it, man.
We're trying to make it to the next
Well, they aren't giving us the information to allow us to understand it.
So nobody.
out there understands it and I suspect the people in government don't cross the board understand it either because it's all happening happening and sort of a unilateral basis sui generis day by day you know it's it's all kind of extemporaneous and so that's the problem with it it's you know the mark and the people who who have imprinted on Donald Trump and want to believe that everything that's happening is good maybe you know
We don't know what's happening, so it's hard for us to judge what it is that's good or bad about what's happening, and I think at least the people should wake up to the fact that we should have transparency so that we understand what's happening, because I'm not being condescending.
I'm not saying other people don't understand it, and I do.
I don't understand it.
It's impossible to understand because we aren't being given the information.
Well, I'm concerned about something else.
I haven't been brought up yet, but I'm concerned about this crap that he's coming up with about the 51st date.
I'm concerned about him saying that he's going to
take Gaza.
And to me, that is dangerous language.
That doesn't deter our economy.
That is dangerous.
There is groups within our country that are already sat here that would love to do harm to us just because of that stupid conversation of taking Gaza.
You know, he said there was netting on and brought it up.
Netting on his face went blank because how stupid he would be to make up such stupid comments.
and it not only hurts Israel, because most people are willing to die from that strip of land, and it's been going on for 80 years.
And this idiot's not the guy that's going to solve their problems.
And I'm thinking he's putting Americans in danger.
He's talking
Well, you know, Paul, there's no question that that kind of conversation can mobilize the Muslim community.
We've seen
You know when you when you look Sandy at the fact that the Muslim community itself is no match militarily for the Western civilization that there no match There's only one other way right for him to fight back and that is and I nobody's justified to Sandy, but you don't need to do anything to to
make people want to do harm than to hear this thing that we're gonna move these people out of their homeland.
Well, you know, guerrilla warfare is the definition that used to be used for what we now call terrorism.
And guerrilla warfare has always been the strategy of those for whom there is complete imbalance and power, right?
So, and particularly guerrilla warfare is the strategy of those.
who are being isolated and occupied.
And so, yeah, but I mean, I think that Donald Trump's discussion of such things as the 51st state and Greenland and Gaza.
are probably things that he's honestly thinking about because his mind is so scattered.
But the people behind him, the people who are using Donald Trump as the tool for implementing all of these willful strategies and government that are in project 2025, are pleased to have him with all these distractions, having people concentrating on the craziness associated with all of that talk, while meanwhile,
They're they're they're weaponizing the FBI politically.
They're weaponizing the Department of Justice politically.
They're doing all these things to take over our government and to modify it in very fundamental ways.
Hey, Sandy,
Accused them of doing what we plan on doing.
And whether or not Joe Biden misused it, I don't know.
But that certainly doesn't justify for the American public the notion that it ought to be that way.
And now what they're doing is doing it in broad daylight.
You know, this Eric Adams, this termination of the prosecution of Eric Adams, this pardoning of Blagdanovich, the whole process is openly political.
Yes.
Good morning, Earl and Sandy.
Something that's very obvious is the U.S.
Department of Education.
You know, last year, you can look it up, spent $368 billion, and they have roughly around 3,000 employees yet.
You know, that's a lot of money.
Yep.
You know, our country is rated 40 in reading and in math.
40 of the countries around the world.
You know, that's what's so clear.
You know, the Republicans present a problem like that and say, we're going to do something about the US Department of Education.
You know, isn't that clear?
So,
We'll save a lot of money if they're not improving our kids' education after these many years since 1970.
We've kept one down and down and down.
Well, I think what we ought to do is we ought to have some public discussion about how that $380 million is spent because what it doesn't do is control the curriculum of what goes on in our public schools around the country or our private schools around the country right now.
And so the nature of our schools requires some help.
But it's basically a local process.
And maybe there needs to be more federal help.
I mean, we haven't really discussed or had a public discussion of how do we get our public schools and our school system generally to do a better job.
But I'm not sure that simply destroying one arm of the process is necessarily going to improve local schools.
I don't think we've had any discussion or proof that the federal government has damaged.
uh what it is that's ongoing in our public schools uh so you know uh what that amounts to instantly the the amount of money that you described uh is a drop in the bucket seven million
and you
