Our felonious, truth-averse President asserted in a social media post this morning that DOGE had uncovered an enormous scandal involving truth-aligned media outlets receiving money from the government for what he alleges are biased articles. And this is gonna shock you: he's right! In part. Outlets like Politico receive money from the government in exchange for their service. It's called a subscription. But Trump and his billionaire cronies led by Musk are using this, like they're using every bit of info they steal from the government, to justify gutting agencies that provide lifesaving work. Honestly, the flood has been so intense we can't find one neat article to give you on that last claim. So start here, with HALF of Wisconsin's Head Start programs unable to access necessary funds due to this administration's chaos.
