Brittney Merlot

Wisconsin has it all, from severe storms to snow squalls. The midwest is my home. Born and raised in a suburb of Chicago, my first job in television was forecasting for Duluth, Minnesota and the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Learning Lake Superior became a challenge and an obsession, from the weather it creates to environmental concerns around it. After moving to the Fox Valley, I realized how much of an impact these Great Lakes really have on Wisconsin towns and people. A converted cheesehead for life! Like the saying goes, if you don't like the weather today, just wait a day and it will change! That's why I live here. Forecasting is so much fun and important as it changes from day to day or sometimes hour by hour. I'm passionate about it! Let's ride through it together. Currently located in the central Wisconsin woods of Wausau, I'm an outdoor enthusiast, adventurer and truth seeker who simply enjoys standing out in life's weather! Let's watch and listen to it...
