Charles W. Aubin, Laurium

Charles W. Aubin of Laurium, Michigan passed away on March 27, 2026 at the Omega House in Houghton, Michigan.

Charlie was born on September 6, 1955 in Laurium to parents Charles and Catherine Aubin. Charlie graduated from Calumet High School.

He met the love of his life; Judith Ann and they were married in September 1978. Charlie worked in the CAM department at Calumet Electronics. He worked there for 51 years – their longest employee. He was still working there until the end of February.

Charlie loved listening to music, especially American Country Gold with Elmer Aho. He also enjoyed ATVing, cookouts, and spending time with family and friends. He also loved watching SpongeBob with his grandson Kian.

Charlie is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Katie, his wife Judith Ann, and his sisters Patricia and Sue.

He is survived by his two daughters Melanie and Katie, son-in-law Scott, grandson Kian who is his pride and joy, his brothers and sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held for Charles Aubin later in the spring.

The family would like to give their deepest thanks to the staff at the Omega House for all that they do. Any memorial donations can be made to the Omega House in honor of Charles.
