Movie Monday: Rest In Peace, grumpy Morris

We haven’t had an In Memoriam segment during our Movie Mondays before, but if anyone deserves it, it’s Morris.

You will remember this gator from films like Happy Gilmore, Eraser, Dr. Doolittle 2, and even Interview with the Vampire. In fact, he’s been in over 30 Hollywood films.

Morris was a little too aggressive on set and had to be retired to a reptile farm sanctuary in Southern Colorado in 2006. But at nearly an estimated 80-years-old, I would be a little grumpy, too.

Rest in peace, Morris.

Laura McKenna grew up in Ohio and got her first job in radio in La Crosse in 2005. She packed up her stuff, made the move, and has been in Wisconsin ever since! Her favorite season is winter but she loves to spend all summer in her vegetable garden. She married her best friend from college last year but they still don't live in the same house yet.
