The City Utilities of Richland Center Water Department will conduct 2026 water main flushing Monday (May 11) through Friday (May 15) and Monday, May 18 through Friday, May 22.

Flushing will take place each morning beginning at approximately 6:00 and continuing through mid-to-late afternoon.

Flushing will not take place overnight this year. During flushing, the entire water system may experience temporary rusty or cloudy water and reduced water pressure, not
just the zone being flushed that day.

The water remains safe to drink; however, it may discolor laundry.

This week’s flushing schedule is as follows:

Monday – North Industrial Park back to town along County AA to the City Cemetery Garage at
10th Street, 11th Street and 12th Street area.
Tuesday – Allison Park area, North Park to the north end of the City on Allison Park Drive,
Collins Drive, Rainbow Drive back to the Campus land.
Wednesday – 3rd to 9th Streets, Congress to Cedar Street on the east end.
Thursday – Court to 2nd Street, Congress to Cedar Street and Schmitz Street on the east end.
Friday – Seminary to Kinder Streets east of the Pine River, Congress to Haseltine Court area on
the east end, including Ithaca Road.

Storms or other unexpected circumstances may extend or postpone flushing times or dates. You can find more information, including the flushing schedule for both weeks, on the City of Richland Center website.
