Presented by Capita Productions, the production officially began with a Community Day performance on February 28. While that opening show has now passed, additional public performances are scheduled throughout the upcoming weekend.
The performances will take place at Marshall High School, located at 4141 North 64th Street on Milwaukee’s north side.
Remaining showtimes include:
- Friday, March 6 at 7 p.m.
- Saturday, March 7 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
- Sunday, March 8 at 3 p.m.
Organizers describe We Are The Drum as an uplifting and high-energy production that highlights cultural heritage through storytelling, movement, and percussion. The show features youth performers and community talent, blending artistic expression with educational elements rooted in history and tradition.
Capita Productions is known locally for providing arts programming that promotes cultural awareness while creating performance opportunities for young people across Milwaukee.
Tickets for remaining performances are $20 per person, with limited seating available.
