
RIPON, Wis (WRPN)- No one was injured when a 36-year-old Princeton resident “blacked out” and drove a minivan into a vacant duplex in Markesan Thursday morning.
According to Markesan Police the driver was heading east on West John Street approaching the intersection of South Bridge Street and “blacked out” due to a medical episode just before entering the intersection.
The vehicle continued east and careened into a vacant duplex at 24 South Bridge Street. The driver, the lone occupant of the vehicle, refused ambulance transport and was not hurt.
The building sustained moderate damage when the vehicle drove into the front portion of the duplex.
