Cold Weather Advisories Issued

RIPON, Wis (WRPN)- Update: The Cold Weather Advisories referred to in our previous story have been extended to 10 am Sunday morning.

The National Weather Service has issued a series of Cold Weather Advisories for Wisconsin this weekend.

For Columbia, Dodge, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, and Marquette counties the advisory is in effect from midnight tonight until Noon Saturday with wind chills as low as 25 degrees below zero.

For Waupaca, Waushara, and Winnebago counties the advisory is from midnight tonight to 10 am Sunday morning with wind chills as low as 33 degrees below zero. Frostbite could occur to exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.
