What a week, folks.

The big news from the Wisconsin political universe this past week was Tony Evers’ decision not to seek a third term as governor. So, as you might expect, that topic dominated much of our conversations on the airwaves this week.

With that news arriving officially at noon on Thursday, we’ll feature three of my guest appearances from after the news broke here.

And in case you missed it, you can read my column reacting to the news here.

As for talking about this topic on the radio, I spent some extra time Friday morning on “Matenaer On Air” (9-11 a.m. on Civic Media) with Jane Matenaer and Greg Bach, talking about Evers’ decision, along with Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez’s announcement that she’s running for governor, and County Executive David Crowley’s statement that he would soon be launching his campaign.

Listen or watch below (my segment begins midway through Hour 1, or at the 31:45 mark of the YouTube), or go here to listen on Civic Media.

Also on Thursday, right after the news broke, I joined “The Todd Allbaugh Show” for some live reaction, with Civic Media News Director Chali Pittman, GOP strategist Bill McCoshen, and host Todd Allbaugh.

You can find a story about this live reaction here from Civic Media’s Teri Barr, and listen or watch the show below.

On Friday, I joined Patti Vasquez on Heartland Signal and WCPT 820 in Chicago for “Driving it Home” to talk about the big news about the governor. You can listen to that show here.

Earlier in the week, I also joined Pat Kreitlow, as I do every Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. across the Civic Media network for “Mornings with Pat Kreitlow.”

Listen to or watch here.
