New Director for the Ripon Public Library

The Ripon Public Library has appointed Nancy Bell as the new Library Director.

Library Board President Mary Madderom says, “Her wide-ranging experience, commitment to community engagement, and passion for inclusive services make her an outstanding fit to lead the library into its next chapter.”

Bell brings a decade of progressive experience to Wisconsin libraries, most recently as the Director of Shawano County Library, where she led a team of 22 staff across six locations. At Shawano she worked closely with local government and community organizations to expand services, while championing the library’s role as a center of lifelong learning and community building.

Bell’s previous roles also include Readers’ Advisory Librarian at Oshkosh Public Library. She also worked at Milwaukee Public Library.

Bell will join the Ripon Public Library in early July.
