Ithaca Senior performs at Dorian Vocal Festival

Ithaca High School senior, Ben Huebsch performed in the 75th Annual Dorian Vocal Festival, held recently at Luther College.

This two day event is open to juniors and seniors from the tri-state area who have been nominated by their directors.

Huebsch was nominated by Sandi Johnson with the help of Mr. Herbst and Mrs. Thompson.

While at the festival, students had the opportunity to sing with a 950 person choir, rehearse with the Luther College music faculty, and participate in sectionals with singers from hundreds of schools around the Midwest.

One of the directors of the festival stated, “Thank you to all our families and staff who encourage and make music possible for our students!”.
