Republican Chuck Wichgers wins 84th Assembly District

The 84thd Assembly District includes parts of Waukesha and Racine counties in southeastern Wisconsin.

WISCONSIN (Civic Media) – Incumbent Republican Chuck Wichgers has been called the winner of the race for the 84th Assembly District in Wisconsin.

The Associated Press made the call Tuesday evening.

The Republican Party was favored in this district going into the election, according to CNalysis. The district was considered solid Republican with a projected margin of 39 points.

Wichgers, who was first elected to the Assembly in 2016, is a professional salesman. He serves on four committees. Wichgers was drawn out of the 82nd District that he currently represents.

Wichgers defeated Democratic challenger Zach Roper.

The 84thd Assembly District includes parts of Waukesha and Racine counties in southeastern Wisconsin.
