By jimmie Kaska, Civic Media StaffWISCONSIN (Civic Media) – Incumbent Democrat Tip McGuire has been called the winner of the race for the 64th Assembly District in Wisconsin.
The Associated Press made the call Tuesday evening.
The Democratic Party was favored in this district going into the election, according to CNalysis. The district was considered very likely Democratic with a projected margin of 16 points.
McGuire, who was first elected to the Assembly in 2018, serves on the Joint Committee on Finance. He is an attorney in Kenosha and Milwaukee counties.
McGuire defeated Republican challenger Ed Hibsch, who he has faced for the past three elections. Hibsch is a ride service business in Kenosha and Racine.
