By Jimmie Kaska, Civic Media StaffWISCONSIN (Civic Media) – Incumbent Democrat Mike Bare has been called the winner of the race for the 80th Assembly District in Wisconsin.
The Associated Press made the call Tuesday evening.
The Democratic Party was favored in this district going into the election, according to CNalysis. The district was considered very likely Democrat with a projected margin of 52 points.
Bare, who was first elected to the Assembly in 2022, previously served on the Verona City Council and Dane County Board. He serves on five committees.
Bare defeated Republican challenger Bob Relph, a firefighter and basketball coach.
