Democrat Lee Snodgrass wins 52nd Assembly District

The 52nd Assembly District covers part of Outagamie County, including the city of Appleton, in eastern Wisconsin.

WISCONSIN (Civic Media) – Incumbent Democrat Lee Snodgrass has been called the winner of the race for the 52nd Assembly District in Wisconsin.

The Associated Press made the call Tuesday evening.

The Democratic Party was favored in this district going into the election, according to CNalysis. The district was considered very likely Democrat with a projected margin of 18 points.

Snodgrass, who was first elected to the Assembly in 2020, is the Minority Caucus Sergeant at Arms and serves on four committees. She is a full-time legislator.

Snodgrass defeated Republican challenger Chad Cooke, a military veteran who also served a term on the Outagamie County Board, but lost a bid for re-election during the Spring Election in April.

The 52nd Assembly District covers part of Outagamie County, including the city of Appleton, in eastern Wisconsin.
