The 50th Assembly District covers Green County and a part of Dane County in south central Wisconsin.
By Jimmie Kaska, Civic Media StaffWISCONSIN (Civic Media) – Incumbent Democrat Jenna Jacobson has been called the winner of the race for the 50th Assembly District in Wisconsin.
The Associated Press made the call Tuesday evening.
The Democratic Party was favored in this district going into the election, according to CNalysis. The district was considered very likely Democrat with a projected margin of 20 points.
Jacobson, who was drawn out of the 43rd District, was first elected to the Assembly in 2022. She is a housing program specialist and financial analyst and served on the Village of Oregon Board of Trustees for six years.
Jacobson defeated Republican challenger Rich Johnson, a telephone installation and repair technician from New Glarus.
