
Republican Rick Gundrum wins 58th Assembly District
The 58th Assembly District covers parts of the northwestern Milwaukee suburbs, including West Bend and Slinger.
WISCONSIN (Civic Media) – Incumbent Republican Rick Gundrum has been called the winner of the race for the 58th Assembly District in Wisconsin.
The Associated Press made the call Tuesday evening.
The Republican Party was favored in this district going into the election, according to CNalysis. The district was considered solid Republican with a projected margin of 39 points.
Gundrum was first elected to the state Assembly in 2018 in a special election. Gundrum, a former radio broadcaster, has served on several Assembly committees and has a history of serving in both county and village government.
Gundrum defeated Democratic challenger Deb Anderson, a retiree who has served on the West Bend City Council.
