Miss Wisconsin Rapids Pageant

Many of the contestants of the upcoming Miss Wisconsin Rapids, and Miss Wisconsin Rapids Teen Pageants, sat down with James J. Malouf in a series of five interviews to explain the ins and outs of this valuable community event.

The process of becoming Miss Wisconsin Rapids begins each spring, with general information meetings for anyone interested in learning more. In the summer the organization provides plenty of opportunities for community involvement, and other resources that help contestants build the skills to succeed. When fall comes around contestants are invited to workshops, resume building meetings, mock interviews, and rehearsals in preparation for the Pageant. As part of that, many of the contestants of the upcoming Miss Wisconsin Rapids, and Miss Wisconsin Rapids Teen Pageants sat down with James J. Miss Wisconsin Rapids Scholarship Organization

The Miss Wisconsin Rapids Scholarship Organization has provided more than $250,000 in scholarship assistance to young women in the area since 1985! Providing education opportunities, community service experience, and public speaking and performance experience makes this organization so important for young women involved in it. In addition to the traditional competition the organization also allows people to vote in the People’s Choice awards. Just make a donation to the organization of $1, and you can try your hand at being pageant judge. If you would like to participate in the people’s choice competition you can follow the link here.

As if that wasn’t enough great work, the Miss Wisconsin Rapids Scholarship Organizations has one last program, this one for the littlest ladies in the area! The Miss Wisconsin Rapids Cranberry Cuties program for girls from Kindergarten through 5th grade. The program consists of a two-day dance clinic. At that clinic they will learn a routine which they will perform at the Miss Wisconsin Rapids Pageant. For more information about the Cranberry Cuties Program you can visit their website here.

The Pageant

The Miss Wisconsin Rapids, and Miss Wisconsin Rapids Teen, Pageant is On October 26th at the Performing Arts Center of Wisconsin Rapids. To get tickets you can visit their website here. To look into the qualifications and application process, you can visit their website here.
