MADISON, Wis. – Mad Radio WMDX 92.7 FM, 1580 AM began broadcasting live from its new studio on State St. today. The facility is also the headquarters of Civic Media, the station’s parent network. It sits just a few blocks away from the state capitol.

The station began the day with Town Call, the weekday news show that airs just after the network’s noon newscast. The first-day lineup continued with The Todd Allbaugh Show from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. It culminated with the stations longest-running offering, The Devil’s Advocates Radio from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

“It’s the greatest show ever, now broadcasting from the best location ever,” said Mike Crute, host of The Devil’s Advocates.

The daily lineup will continue to air as it has on weekdays, with new additions for weekly evening shows planned to start later in the summer and early fall. The new facility was designed to accommodate the growing number of offerings from the network. It also coincides with many infrastructure improvements it has been making throughout the state going on line in the past several weeks.
