Todd comes to us live from Milwaukee at the Wisconsin State Education Convention! Our schools are the heart of our communities, and we must provide the support they need. Todd takes your calls on the politics surrounding public education in Wisconsin, talking primarily about private school voucher programs taking money from public schools. Pat Kreitlow of UpNorthNews Radio calls in to give his perspective as a former legislator.
Todd also takes a call about why he left the Republican party. Ultimately though, it was the Republican party that left him. Todd’s values have remained largely the same, but his former party has resorted to fear-based politics. Modern Republican leadership seeks to divide us, starving out public education and suppressing minority voters.

God Made a Dictator (Hour 1)
On this Crossover Wednesday, Pat Kreitlow of UpNorthNews Radio and Trygve Olson of The Lincoln Project provide their perspective on the results of the Iowa caucus. They also take a moment to share a new ad from The Lincoln Project called God Made a Dictator. Recently, Trump’s campaign used AI to spoof the classic Paul Harvey radio spot, God Made a Farmer, turning it into a self-aggrandizing worship piece called God Made Trump. Created by Rick Wilson, the new Lincoln Project video shows historical dictators, comparing their behavior to that of Donald Trump, culminating in a powerful call to action for the American people. While particularly poignant for Christians, Pat asserts that it presents a compelling case for anybody who listens all the way to the end.
Trygve Olson sticks around to dive deeper into this year’s presidential campaigns. While Nikki Haley is shaping up to be Donald Trump’s primary competition, she still refuses to condemn him for his actions. Despite being the only woman on the campaign trail, when asked about Trump’s sexual assault case, Haley deflects the question. After letting us know what to look for in next week’s New Hampshire caucus, Todd and Trygve move on to talk Packers and celebrate their unexpected success.

President Or Mob Boss? (Hour 1)
Donald Trump’s lawyers are throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks. They now argue that unless a United States President is impeached and removed from office, they are completely immune to any and all legal prosecution. This includes the specific examples of selling state secrets, selling pardons, and even sending Seal Team 6 to assassinate political rivals. Clearly, this is absolute nonsense, so why are they even presenting this argument? Pat Kreitlow of UpNorthNews Radio and Trygve Olson of The Lincoln Project share their opinions before we welcome our friend Matt Flynn of Matt Flynn - Direct. Matt is an attorney, and he believes that this venture is destined to fail.
Donald Trump has also failed to sign paperwork in the state of Illinois certifying that he will not try to overthrow the government if he loses the election. By electing not to do this, he is essentially declaring that he does indeed intend to overthrow the government. This comes as no surprise, as Trygve has been telling us about Trump’s autocratic signals for months.

He continues to condemn Donald Trump, going as far as to say that Trump is everything that’s wrong with the Republican party. However, is this enough? Patt, Todd, and Trygve don’t think so. They believe Trump is dangerous enough that those in Paul Ryan’s position need to do everything in their power to stop him from getting back into office. We also take your calls on the topic, leading up to an important question: what are we so afraid of? What are the supposedly terrible things that Donald Trump has done and promises to do?
