Expanding Our Circle with Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez (Hour 1)
Today, we are honored to welcome Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez back to the show! We speak with her about Wednesday’s State of the State address from Governor Evers. Rodriguez both have a personal connection to this issue.
At the bottom of the hour, three-time Big 10 champion Bradie Ewing is back for another discussion on sports and positive thinking. In remembering the late Bob Uecker, Todd and Bradie reflect on the incredible impact that good sports broadcasters have on both players and listeners. Many people don’t realize that as sports teams travel, the players, coaches and broadcasters become family.

Even In Historic Negotiations, Biden Is Humble (Hour 1)
Todd is back! After a very fruitful medical appointment, he has regained a lot of his hearing and sense of wellbeing. After thanking Pat Kreitlow and Luke Mathers for filling in, Todd jumps into the day’s news. Last night, President Biden secured a historic hostage trade deal with Russia, requiring complex international negotiations. Reportedly, this deal has been in the works since before Biden withdrew from the race, proving that he has the experience and political acumen to get the job done, even though he was ill. We listen to some of Biden’s remarks, in which he emphasizes the roles of other world leaders and families of the hostages over his own.
BREAKING NEWS: As of a virtual DNC roll call this afternoon, Kamala Harris has officially gained enough delegates to secure the Democratic nomination for President. Todd briefly explains this process. Civic Media News will continue to cover this development.
At the bottom of the hour, we welcome Bradie Ewing back to bring some positivity before the weekend.

The Democratic response has been extremely weak and pessimistic, and Todd speaks out against it. We also take some of your calls on the debate.
At the bottom of the hour, Bradie Ewing comes to bring some positivity to our weekend. As a former Badger and NFL fullback, he knows a lot about what it takes to succeed. Having spent a lot of his NFL career injured, he also has a lot of experience overcoming disappointment and adversity. Bradie shares some of his encouraging wisdom with us.
