Hundreds of bills have been introduced in the Wisconsin Legislature so far this session, from Assembly Bill1 to Assembly Bill 273. In the other chambers, you can go all the way up to Senate Bill 280. But one bill is missing: Senate Bill 1. Republicans reserved it for their version of a state budget and tax plan, but it’s still missing in action nearly five months into the session. We’ll talk to Robert Kraig and Heather DuBois Bourenane about a coalition that wants the budget-in-hiding to meet certain standards or Gov. Evers should veto it and make lawmakers start over.
