Don’t Play Possum With Real Possums (Hour 1)
We have some breaking news! Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul is finally taking action against our state’s slate of false electors from 2020. While other states took action against their false electors promptly, Wisconsin didn’t do anything until June of this year. Even in this new filing, Kaul is not actually charging the electors themselves. What exactly does this new filing do, and why is it happening four years later? Two-time State Democratic Chair, attorney, author and friend Matt Flynn joins us to talk through how this may shake out.
At the bottom of the hour, Luke Mathers brings us another fresh edition of Tuesday Tangents! After touching on today’s legal news, he and Todd shift to talk about baseball. Willy Adames is leaving the Milwaukee Brewers, but our coach Pat Murphy has expressed nothing but happiness for the star player.

BREAKING: GOP State Sen. Rob Cowles Endorses Harris (Hour 1)
Kicking off today’s show, Todd breaks some news! Rob Cowles, the current longest serving State Senator, is voting for Kamala Harris! We are joined by Mark Becker, a former Republican elected official who now hosts Rational Revolution on weekends here at Civic Media. On Jack Smith’s Unsealed Documents with Matt Flynn (Hour 2)
At the top of our second hour, Todd devotes some time to cover an issue spreading across our state: privatization of healthcare centers. Sauk County in particular is in danger of turning over control of their high-rated healthcare center to an extremely low-rated and potentially dangerous private owner. Longtime community organizer George Goehl and Judy Brey of Citizens for the Sauk County Health Care Center call in to speak to the dangers of this pending sale.
After that, our friend and resident legal expert Matt Flynn calls in to talk about huge developments in Jack Smith’s Donald Trump case. Judge Tanya Chutkan has unsealed a large amount of court documents regarding the events of January 6th, 2021. It is becoming harder and harder to deny the overwhelming evidence against Donald Trump’s election denialism and attempted coup.
To wrap up our show, Mandy Kimes returns to share a heartwarming story of political parties coming together over baseball.
