Marta Hansen
Goodnight, Mr. Baseball (Hour 1)
Moments before going to air, news broke that Bob Uecker has died at the age of 90. Civic Media Sports Reporter Mike Clemons joins the show to talk about the legend that is Mr. Baseball. From his days as a player to his 54 years in the broadcast booth, we remember the man who was the voice of The Brewers. Then, Marta Hansen is the Dane County local group lead volunteer for Moms Demand Action. Through Executive Order, Governor Tony Evers has created creating the statewide Wisconsin Office of Violence Prevention (OVP). We discuss the goals and importance of this office for all those who live in the state.

To begin this hour, Jane and Greg welcome Congressman Mark Pocan to Matenaer On Air to talk about all of the news this week regarding the election and Joe Biden stepping out of the race. Up next, we drop in on Maino and The Mayor at EAA AirVenture! Jim and John are joined by EAA Museum Manager Chris Henry. Chris shares how he got his start in his field, how he worked as an air traffic controller prior to taking the job as Museum Manager, and some of the features of the EAA Museum in Oshkosh, which is open all year long.
Next, Trygve Olson from The Lincoln Project joins Pat Kreitlow on UpNorthNews to explain how a group of Never-Trump Republicans is reacting to a generational passing of the torch by Democrats and how that might help GOP traditionalists take their party back and protect democracy in the process.
Finally, we end the week Nite Lite's Pete Schwaba is joined by Marta Hansen, piano technician and owner of The Piano Gal Shop and local musicians/songwriter. Marta preforms a song live in studio, shares what goes into owning a Piano shop, and what Marta's got coming up.
