This week is our best of 2024 edition. We started NEWisco Weekend in July of this year, and since then we have expanded our team of correspondents to include Civic Media reporters from throughout the state. This week, feature stories on The Oshkosh Community Pantry expanding to service anyone experiencing food insecurity in the state of Wisconsin, the Christine Ann Domestic Abuse Shelter, and a comedian who makes the Midwest her home and joke.

Then we speak with Civic Media's own Fancy Bryan Kelly and his time with SAG/AFTRA and how a strong union helps all unions.

Neighborhood Focus & Comedy (Hour 3)
We start the hour off featuring Karl Winter, part of our Neighborhood Focus Partnership with NBC 26. Karl is a Neighborhood Reporter with the station and focuses on the Green Bay Community. He tells us a bit about some of the changes coming to the community that focuses around the NFL Draft. Then we share a little laughter with Kristin Lytie. From Green Bay, she moved it Chicago for work, and started doing comedy at an open mic night. She came back to Green Bay in 2017 and is really excited about building the comedy community in Green Bay. She's working on some shows at a few festivals in the next and has an album out.
