KIM nohr
Veterans 1st & Coach Blanks (Hour 2)
We get an update from the wonderful folks at Veterans 1st N.E.W. who have begun their project of building a small home village for homeless veterans. They are rolling forward with their plans, and stop by with an update. Right now now they've gone through all the hoops with the city and county. Kim & Gail Nohr are great stewards of this project. Then DeVante Blanks joins as the new Head Coach for the Ashwaubenon Boys Basketball team. He talks a bit about how basketball took him off the streets in Chicago "it was a way to get away from what was going on in the streets and at home". His other focus is working with young people in our community with Reflections Community Service Program. "I wanna be a supporter and a resource for these guys, on and off the court".

Cottage Court & Home Inspections (Hour 2)
Our good friends Kim & Gail Nohr with Veterans 1st join us with good news about their Cottage Court Veterans tiny home village they're building in the area. Things were touch and go for a bit, so this is a big celebration! We're happy to be a part of it in any way we can. Chad Buntin also joins to talk about the actual construction project and what it will take. Get more details on how you can get involved by clicking HERE. We also get a surprise call from some old radio friends who hit the airwaves this week. (Otis, Katie & Nick). In the Moving With The Malcores segment, Andy Basten joins to talk about home inspections: the importance of them, and some of things home seller and buyers can look for when they do their own walk-throughs.
