Rest In Peace, Mr. Baseball. (Hour 1)

Joining us to celebrate this baseball legend is Kelly Kahl, one of the producers of Just A Bit Outside: The Story of the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers. Uecker will forever be remembered for his humor, humility and enthusiasm for the sport.
At the bottom of the hour, our friend and baseball enthusiast Jeff Perry joins us to share his memories of Bob Uecker. He reads a collection of some of the best Uecker quotes.

Weekly Best of Todd Allbaugh Show for Sep 14
From Thursday: They’re (Not) Eating Cats And Dogs
Todd keeps the conversation rolling on Tuesday’s presidential debate. Donald Trump demonstrated why he is unfit for office. He had no response on simple topics, no policies, and no plans. He spread harmful misinformation about immigrants, including that Haitian immigrants in Ohio were eating people’s pets. Many officials, including Mike DeWine, the Republican Governor of Ohio, have debunked that story as a complete fabrication. Stories like these might sound goofy, but they have wide-reaching effects. Dehumanizing immigrants leads to discrimination against them. The President of the United States acts as a role model for all its citizens, and a person like Donald Trump implicitly invites the worst behavior our country has to offer.
Then, we switch to a more positive note. From Wednesday: Just A Bit Outside: The World Premiere!
Todd broadcasts live from the Marcus Majestic Cinema in Waukesha for the VIP premiere of Just A Bit Outside: The Story of the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers! Our friend and contributor Jeff Perry joins Todd to talk baseball. Kelly Kahl and Sean Hanish, producer and director/producer respectively, join Todd and Jeff at the theater to share their excitement around the movie’s release. Kelly and Sean grew up in the Milwaukee area and both experienced the team’s emotional journey to the World Series in 1982, and they can’t wait to share it with the world. We also welcome Paul Jacony-Biery, another producer of the film who isn’t from our state, to talk about how the story appeals to everyone, not just sports fans and Wisconsinites.
Head to justabitoutsidethemovie.com to find out where you can see the new movie.
