Keegan Kelly
Weekly Best of Todd Allbaugh Show for Aug 3
From Friday's show:
Even In Historic Negotiations, Biden Is Humble - Todd is back! After a very fruitful medical appointment, he has regained a lot of his hearing and sense of wellbeing. After thanking Pat Kreitlow and Luke Mathers for filling in, Todd jumps into the day’s news. Last night, President Biden secured a historic hostage trade deal with Russia, requiring complex international negotiations. Reportedly, this deal has been in the works since before Biden withdrew from the race, proving that he has the experience and political acumen to get the job done, even though he was ill. We listen to some of Biden’s remarks, in which he emphasizes the roles of other world leaders and families of the hostages over his own.
Have you seen the movie Office Space? At the bottom of the hour, Cracked.com writer Keegan Kelly comes back to share more of his entertainment expertise, with a focus on Peter, the protagonist of the hit movie. Office Space is a satirical take on toxic office culture that has stood the test of time, but one of Kelly’s latest articles on Cracked takes a different stance on Peter’s struggles. Perhaps Peter actually has it a whole lot better than most of us! We also take your calls on whether it’s better to work in an open office or a cubicle.
Wrapping up the show, Kelly shares another article of his about “Frasier sleepers.” No, these aren’t sleeper agents who wake up when hearing Tossed Salad and Scrambled Eggs. “Frasier sleepers” are a group of people who have curated Kelsey Grammer’s hit TV show to find the best episodes to fall asleep to.

On Winning In Rural Wisconsin… And Cubicles (Hour 2)
In Wisconsin’s third congressional district, three Democratic candidates are running against Derrick Van Orden. Van Orden has a horrible track record full of MAGA support and outright bullying of colleagues, women, and children. The Democratic primary is likely coming down to business owner Rebecca Cooke and State Rep. Katrina Shankland. In the past few weeks, the campaigns have been exchanging blows on topics such as “dark money” and voting records. While he is very supportive of Shankland’s legislative history, Todd believes that Cooke is in the right, and that her campaign is only guilty of doing a better job connecting with the people of the third district. At the end of the day, why are these campaigns squabbling when they could be focusing on defeating Derrick Van Orden? Tune in for Todd’s take.

Nikki Haley has been honest on the campaign trail about the failures of MAGA. Todd takes your calls to talk about the state of the Republican party in the House of Representatives.
After that, Keegan Kelly of Cracked.com returns to talk about the most bizarre TV show he’s ever heard of. In an oasis in Saudi Arabia, Kelsey Grammer and Wesley Snipes join other 90’s TV stars as they film the third season of Paper Empire. However, the first two seasons are nowhere to be found. Is it money laundering? Is it a convoluted marketing ploy? Keegan gives us all the info he could find.
Next up, has South Park somehow made people more easily offended by jokes? This idea seems to defy the off-color content of the show, but there is a point to be made here. Keegan explains the line of thought.
