Judge Susan Crawford
The Impact of your Vote
This week we have a full episode with our old friend, State Senator Kristin Dassler-Alfheim! In the first segment, they are joined by State Supreme Court candidate Susan Crawford. The three talk about what is at stake for this race, and Judge Crawford gives a candid response about her thoughts over redistricting.
We’ve got a lot of work to do as a state to make sure people are represented.
Judge Susan Crawford

Then, Mark and Kristin go into detail on how we work with the division that exists. Sen. Alfheim discusses some frustration she has over the divide in Madison, and how to get it right.
People want us to work together, its what we’ve all heard but we’re not allowed to.
Sen. Kris Dassler-Alfheim

In the final segment, Mark and Sen. Alfheim talk about the race for State Superintendent and the differences with the two candidates. It's a can't miss!
This is not about private school. ….I have a problem as a resident of Wisconsin, (a) tax paying resident of Wisconsin, that some kids are worth more in this society than others.
Sen. Kris Dassler-Alfheim

Character Counts (Hour 1)
Judge Susan Crawford joins us to discuss why she's running for Supreme Court of Wisconsin. She shows us she has the character to be our next Justice. This race's spending balloons closer to the projected $100 million price tag. With that in mind, Judge Crawford shares her horror at the richest man in the world contributing over a quarter of the full spending as of yet. Today, we learn that Elon Musk is now also dropping donations by $1 million checks to specific voters who sign his paid petition against "activist judges." Now if those signees really oppose activist judges, they'll turn their ire against BS, Judge Crawford's opponent. Because BS consistently declares that he will be a rubber stamp for President Trump's agenda. He goes so far as to say that Trump needs a support network, which he would be as Justice.
For the second half of the hour, we discuss the role of character in choosing which candidate to elect. Looking beyond how we think a Justice may or may not rule on the state's highest court, how should we weigh their character?

Weakness of the Mind
Tom Palzewicz, one of the most reasonable guys in politics, is back as Maggie's co-host. Dane County Circuit Court Judge and Wisconsin Supreme Court Candidate Susan Crawford joins Maggie and Tom to discuss the (just announced!) March 12 debate. The Wisconsin Supreme Court plays an important role into our rights and acts as a check and balance for other branches of government. Judge Crawford says she will be a judge we can count on to uphold those values. Maggie and Tom also take some time this hour to look into how Democrats should handle the upcoming budget reconciliation bill and vote. They are literally fighting corruption, so is withholding their votes until they get some GOP compromise the right move? They need to play a shrewd game to help protect some of our principles and and programs, as Maggie and Tom discuss.

Speaking The Truth with Judge Susan Crawford (Hour 1)
This Wednesday, a grumpier-than-usual Trygve Olson of The Lincoln Project joins us to discuss the Wisconsin State Supreme Court race. We also get his opinion on Speaker Robin Vos and his new DOGE-inspired Governmental Oversight Accountability and Transparency Committee, or GOAT.
Towards the end of the hour, we are honored to welcome Judge Susan Crawford, a candidate for our State Supreme Court race. She shares what she believes to be the most vital issues in this race.

This Is the GOP’s Plan
This hour, Maggie shares what Donald Trump's "parade of horribles" mean for all of us going forward. (And by the way, it's only been three weeks!) This is the GOP's plan for America on meth. Fortunately, Maggie says there are things we can do going forward. She suggests calling Congress to tell them you believe in civil service. The number is 202-224-3121. She also reminds us to register to vote and to use the power of our speech.
Dane County Circuit Court Judge and Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate, Judge Susan Crawford also joins Maggie this hour. Judge Crawford shares her background and why she wants to be a fair and partial justice on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. She also explains how her common sense, factual, non-biased approach differs from her Republican opponent and protects human rights. And apparently, we gotta try her chocolate chip cookies!
