Fighting on 14 Different Fronts (Hour 1)
In the olden days —prior to you-know-who shredding constitutional norms— disputes were normally solved at the negotiating table, often between Congress and the president. But with Congress becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Trump, Inc., it’s been up to the courts to try to rein in extra-legal power plays. Through Gov. Evers and Attorney General Josh Kaul, Wisconsin are now involved in 14 different lawsuits attempting to halt America’s slide toward authoritarianism.

It’s Only Day #100? (Hour 1)
Welcome to the 100th day of the Trump administration, a milestone opportunity to outline the many, many, many, many, many ways it turned out to be a not-very-good idea to elect a convicted criminal with a chip on his shoulder, who’s willing to take out his frustrations on every non-billionaire American. On the bright side: Trump’s attempt to meddle in Canada’s election just backfired spectacularly. Also: Gov. Evers joins the parade of lawsuits looking for court to remind Trump of the things he’s not allowed to do—in this case, slash education funding for Wisconsin kids.

Selective Outrage (Hour 1)
We’ll examine how President Trump is defending Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, despite the discovery of a second text chain leaking classified information, while slamming the independent Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell for truthfully noting how the president’s tariffs are causing global economic instability. We’ll also ask, where’s the outrage from the “law and order” crowd who said they need to have lots of guns to guard against a government that can engage in unconstitutional tyranny—such as kidnapping people off the streets and denying them due process. Also: Cherita Booker has a review of our most popular social media posts of the past week.

The Entire Destiny of Humanity (Hour 1)
Give Elon Musk credit: The guy with the most money also offers up the highest degree of hyperbole when it comes to today’s election. “The entire destiny of humanity” rests on the outcome of today’s Supreme Court election, Musk said in Wisconsin on Sunday. It’s a dramatic way of saying he’s about to find out if he correctly guessed the price tag for buying an election or if he set more than $20 million on fire to learn a hard lesson about trying to mess with Wisconsin democracy.

Her Emails? Their Text Chain! (Hour 1)
It’s already worthy of American History textbooks for being the dumbest group text ever—potentially the most dangerous. The vice president, the secretary of defense, the secretary of state, the director of national intelligence and other top officials planned a recent military strike in Yemen using a group text—which included a reporter accidentally added by the president’s national security advisor.

Net proceeds from the sales of My Two Elaines will be used to promote Alzheimer’s caregiver support programs.
After that, on the John and Gordy Show, the guys chat with Pam Jahnke from the Midwest Farm Report about some stories on her radar this week, including big changes coming to milk processing for cheese, and a new study out analyzing just how rural Wisconsin is these days.

Wisconsin Pays the Price (Hour 1)
President Trump’s trade war will cost Americans dearly, but not evenly. The retaliatory tariffs that other nations are slapping on US goods will hit some industries and some states worse than others. And according to a new analysis, Wisconsin jobs and exports are going to take a harder hit than any other state in the nation. Also: Christina Lorey and Cherita Booker report on recent top stories across our social media platforms and in our newsletter.
