From the WRJN Radio Park Newsroom, I'm Stuart J. Wattles with a quick news update.

Getting around downtown Milwaukee could be difficult as crowds gather for the Brewers World Series Championship Parade in celebration.

Road closures, the parade down Wisconsin, and people parking will cause congestion.

The procession ends up at the Summerfest grounds where admission to the general grounds is free until capacity is reached.

Parking nearby is limited, but shuttles are available from American Family Field.

Early voting ends today in the City of Kenosha, while City of Racine voters have options through Sunday.

Today Racine City Hall is open from 8 to 430 and Island Park has voting from 11 to 2.

Tomorrow's options in Racine are City Hall and Mount Cemetery, both from 9 to noon.

The final opportunity is Sunday at City Hall from 11 to 3.

Democrat David Crawley holds a seven-point lead over Republican Tom Tiffany in the final Market Law School poll before Tuesday's election.

The survey released yesterday shows Crawley leading Tiffany 51 to 44 percent among likely Wisconsin voters.

Crawley maintains a strong advantage with independent likely voters pulling 56 percent support compared to Tiffany's 26 percent.

And trick or treating in Racine runs from five to seven tomorrow night with different starting times in nearby communities.

Mount Pleasant also has hours from five to seven.

Kenosha starts at four and goes to seven.

Pleasant Prairie starts at three and ends at six.

Racine also has a trunk or treat event at the Bryant Community Center from one to four tomorrow afternoon.

People handing out candy are reminded to turn on an outside light and drivers should slow down and watch for kids.

And that's news on DoubleQRJN.

Governor Tony Evers has declared today One Our Way Day across Wisconsin to celebrate Milwaukee's first World Series championship.

The name puts a new twist on the team's motto, Win Our Way.

The Brewers won a team record 103 games during the regular season before taking the title.

Evers congratulated the players, manager Pat Murphy and his coaches.

A parade and rally takes place today.

Fans barely had time to swap out their blue and gold gear for green and gold when the World Series trophy made a surprise appearance at Lambeau Field last night.

The 2026 World Champion Brewers walked out the players' tunnel at the end of the first quarter to the roar of the crowd, raising the commissioner's trophy high in the air.

A few of the brew crew even doing their own Lambeau leaps into the crowd before kicking back in the sweet seats to watch the back win their own way over the Carolina Panthers.

Just five days before our midterm elections, Republican candidate for Governor Tom Tiffany took advantage of the Lambeau Field Home Crowd to do some campaigning among tailgaters.

Democrat David Crowley wasn't scheduled to visit Lambeau last night, but he was in the Deer District the night before celebrating with Brewer's fans.

Three finalists for the president of the universities of Wisconsin are presenting their visions for the state's higher education system in Madison.

The candidates include high-ranking leaders from the university systems in Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee.

Each finalist addressed public forums this week, outlining strategies focused on economic growth, future opportunities, and building on existing institutional strengths.

The Board of Regents will select the next president to oversee the system's 13 campus chancellors.

Authorities say a convicted murderer who escaped prison down in Tennessee may be connected to a Wisconsin bank robbery earlier this week.

Dean County officers say a man with a gun robbed the Bank of Deerfield just before it closed Tuesday evening.

They say the gunman restrained two people and left with cash.

No one was hurt.

The gunman stole the Lincoln MKZ from the parking lot to get away.

Police found the car later, but no one was inside.

Jacob Morley was serving a life sentence for a 2022 murder in a Tennessee prison.

Authorities say he escaped last Monday, stealing a Ford F-150 to get away.

The truck was found abandoned early Tuesday in

Illinois.

A rogue drone over Lambeau Field paused the action last night in the third quarter of the Packers game against the Carolina Panthers.

Both teams were ordered back to their respective locker rooms briefly before the Packers resumed their drive scoring a touchdown in the first play back.

The next roar of the crowd was for Christian Watson running back out onto the field after a quick

round-trip ambulance ride to a local ER to get checked out for a chest injury.

Top it all off with a few racing sausages in the stands and you have what they like to call Thursday Night Football in Green Bay.

Oh and the Packers won 27-19.

Of course those sausages escorted the 2026 World Champion Milwaukee Brewers to a Lambeau Field appearance on the eve of

One Our Way Day Today.

That's the declaration by Governor Tony Evers.

A nod to the Brewer's motto, Win Our Way, in celebration of the team's first World Series title.

Milwaukee finished the regular season with 103 wins and its fourth straight division title.

The team then returned to the World Series for the first time in 44 years and won it all.

A parade and rally takes place today.

And that's your state news update.

Mike Clemens

A wild night for Watson.

Hi, I'm Mike Clemens with sports from Lambeau Field, where the Packers beat the Carolina Panthers 27 to 19 on Thursday night football.

Packers wide receiver Christian Lawson had just caught a 53 yard bomb from Jordan Love when he hopped up, ran to the tunnel and was taken to a hospital for

tests.

I think I just came down on the ball or my elbow or something and I couldn't breathe on the field.

I was, you know, got the wind knocked out of me, spitting up some blood or something like that.

So the doctors said I had to go get a CT.

trying to beg them to not make me do that, but everything looked good.

Just had a rib, that's all.

But all the other stuff, the major stuff was all good.

No internal bleeding or anything like that, so I was able to get back out there.

But yeah, that was an experience for sure.

No

Mike Clemens

doubt.

Watson came back from the hospital, finished the night with eight catches for 113 yards.

The Packers defense held the Panthers' potent offense with just a pair of touchdowns.

Javon Bullard.

and begin this thing right at the right time.

Defenses clicking, offenses clicking.

With sports, I'm Mike Clemens.
