National Democrats added challenger Mitchell Berman to their Red to Blue program to help unseat Republican Congressman Brian Stile.
The seat is still rated likely Republican.
Stile holds over $6 million in campaign funds versus Berman's roughly $150,000.
A traffic change today in that Green Bay Road construction.
The DOT is closing inside lanes of 31 at Timber Drive and Regency South for 10 days.
No left turns or through traffic will be allowed there.
17-year-old Ronald Rallo Franklin of Racine was arrested in Chicago Sunday in connection with the shooting death of 18-year-old Giovanni Ami in Mount Pleasant.
Franklin faces attempted armed robbery and homicide charges and is being held pending extradition.
Racine City Council member Marlo Harmon has been appointed to fill a vacant seat on the Racine Unified School Board.
She replaces Scott Cooey, who moved out of the district.
She ran for the seat previously, but lost.

The Harbor Park Fish Cleaning Station in Racine is closed for about a month, while WeE Energy's upgrades electrical lines.
The Pershing Park Station one block away will remain open.

Health officials say they've confirmed the first case of West Nile virus this year in our state in a human and a horse.
Both cases are in Brown County, though West Nile has been detected in other parts of Wisconsin in birds.
Even as we head into autumn, mosquito bites are still a risk.
West Nile virus can lead to mild flu-like symptoms, but health officials say most people infected with West Nile don't have any symptoms at all.
People who are older or who have chronic health conditions are at higher risk of severe illness.
There are things you can do to protect yourself.
They say to use insect repellent, wear long sleeve loose fitting shirts and pants.
use screens on doors and windows to keep mosquitoes out, and drain any standing water in your yard that may have collected in things like bird baths, flower pots, clogged gutters, or tire swings.
Meanwhile, measles has made its way to Marathon County near Wasaw.
Health workers there have confirmed a case of measles in a Marathon County resident.
They say the person contracted measles while traveling outside Wisconsin, and this case is not linked to the measles outbreak in southwestern Wisconsin.
That's where the majority of our states' measles cases have been confirmed, though in addition to the case in Marathon County, there have been single cases confirmed in Dane and Waukesha counties.
According to the DHS's website, Wisconsin has had 164 confirmed cases of measles this year.
163 of those cases were in people who were not vaccinated against the disease.
Federal investigators are now trying to figure out why a small plane carrying Republican candidate for Governor Tom Tiffany lost power and landed in Lake Wasaw.
Recovery crews pulled the Beechcraft K-35 from the water Monday, giving the Federal Aviation Administration a chance to inspect it.
Tiffany and his pilot were hurt but suffered only minor injuries after the emergency landing Saturday night.
The FAA says its investigation could take months.
A Green Bay man arrested for driving into a crowd and injuring four police officers last weekend appeared in court yesterday.
61-year-old Craig Buford is charged with three drunk driving offenses, recklessly endangering safety and fleeing or eluding an officer.
Green Bay police say they were responding to another disturbance at a food truck in downtown Green Bay around 2.30 in the morning Saturday when Buford blocked a car from leaving a parking lot, causing another disturbance.
The criminal complaint says Buford ignored police ordering him to stop and accelerated through the parking lot, hitting a woman in the knee and an officer before turning toward another group of people.
When another officer ran toward Buford, he reportedly squealed his tires and headed toward that officer.
The officer moved out of the way and fired four shots at Buford.
No one was injured by the gunfire.
Buford was arrested a few blocks away.
Police say four officers were treated for injuries and the Green Bay downtown farmers market scheduled for the following morning was canceled.
A new report estimates tariffs have cost Wisconsin $5.5 billion since the start of 2025.
The National Taxpayers Union Foundation put the cost at about $2,100 per Wisconsin household.
The report says machinery and parts account for the biggest share, with an estimated $525 million in added tariffs.
A recent cancellation leaves Wisconsin voters with just one gubernatorial debate this October.
WTMJ-TV, the Milwaukee County Intergovernment Council, and UW-Milwaukee pulled the plug after Tiffany's campaign declined and Crowley couldn't confirm the original date.
The October 21st debate on WISN-TV and WIS Politics remained the only scheduled meeting between Crowley and Tiffany.
It will be aired on stations across the state.
