Iowa Grant defeated Riverdale 64-49 in boys basketball Friday night. The Panthers trailed 26-24 to the Chieftains  at halftime. In the 2^nd half, Riverdale led 33-32 when Iowa Grant went on a 17-0 run and took a lead for good. The Chieftains battled back to within 11 with 2:50 to go, but fell short for the second time this season against their SWAL rival. The Panthers controlled the boards as they improved to 11-6 overall and 5-4 in the conference.
