Today, we begin with an update on yesterday’s shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis. Social media is overflowing with speculation on the shooter’s motives, but we must remember that it is too soon for conclusive evidence. What we do know for certain is that a lot of people bravely showed up to help. As Mr. Rogers said, focus on the helpers. 

At the bottom of the hour, we shift to a far cheerier topic: the beginning of the high school sports season. Phil Nee of WRCO/WRCE and Chad Holmes of WXCO are two of the hardest working people at Civic Media, and they join us to talk about their high school sports coverage.
