Todd comes to us today from the beautiful WGBW studios in Green Bay! Right off the bat, he is joined in-studio by State Representative Amaad Rivera-Wagner (D - Green Bay) to share his thoughts on the void left by Governor Tony Evers as he declines to run for a third term. Rep. Rivera-Wagner also dives into a new bill he is introducing to bring more transparency to our state’s spending. LRB-3546 limits the ability of state legislators to hire private lawyers on taxpayer dollars by requiring a vote to pay for legal counsel.
At the bottom of the hour, we welcome State Representative Robyn Vining (D - Wauwatosa) to make an important announcement: she is running for state senate!
To wrap up our first hour, we talk with Civic Media Sports Reporter Mike Clemens as he prepares to enter the shareholder meeting for the Green Bay Packers. He shares his insights from spending time in and around training camp.
