This hour, we are pleased to welcome Jimmie Kaska, Civic Media’s Sports Director and Digital Content Director. Also a member of the Boscobel school board, Jimmie has a lot to say about the changing landscape of education in our state. While many financial trends are concerning, it’s not all bad. Our expert educators are addressing the future of AI, STEM, and partnerships with community colleges and tech schools.

Pat Kreitlow of UpNorthNews Radio stops in during our last half hour to further explain the consequences of spending state money on private schools. As he says, the Venn diagram of people defunding education and people fighting to destroy democracy is a circle. Pat and Todd also discuss State Superintendent Dr. Jill Underly’s push for students to have the freedom to read.
