Lifelong Waukesha resident Shawn Reilly has served as our City's Mayor since April 2014. He has stewarded Waukesha through some of the biggest watershed (pun intended) moments in our long history, namely the transformation to Lake Michigan water. Shawn gained worldwide attention on January 6, 2021, when he publicly announced his departure from the Republican Party following the attack on our nation's capitol by MAGA supporters. As he wraps up his fourth and final term, Mayor Reilly reflects on his career in public service and his life as a proud son of Waukesha.
