You can't be of like, we're human beings.
You get a complex cocktail of emotions and it never gets wilder.
Like you guys, we get to experience one of the purest emotions, just unbridled joy.
It's like, it's like a wedding, man.
It was like, rarely do you not have a downside right now.
Honestly, congratulations to the fans as much as to the brewers because what a thing.
They haven't even been there in how long.
Here it is.
Number one, all time.
just incredible.
I remember covering the NLCS and not this year, but, you know, when they went, you know, 10, 15, whatever years ago, and I'm sitting there, I'm wondering, you know, how cool would this be to just, you know, be able to witness, you know, be a part of this run of Wisconsin sports at the time, you know, the Packers that won a Super Bowl, the, you know, the, you know, the Bucks didn't have Giannis or anything yet that were kind of out of, but like the Packers that just won a Super Bowl, the Brewers are right there and then, oh man, they just can't get it done on the NLCS.
And then
What's been building every year?
It seems like every year they've had to trade somebody they've had the manager leave they've had uh, you know free agents leave they can't afford to keep guys like Corbin burns will leave domice all these guys and Then this year at the trade deadline people are upset.
They don't get Tark scuba, right?
So people are sitting here wondering well the brewers aren't ever gonna get that big name But then you see this team come together and win the world freaking series.
I mean, I don't know all this
All this angst and anxiety over what happened, didn't happen, guys who are here, guys who aren't here.
It's about who's here, and it's about the fact that the Brewers are world champions.
There's so many people that made this possible, and I don't even mean everyone that's in the organization right now.
We, William Domes.
He's the guy who helped out Jackson Shurio settle in and get to how good he is now.
We were trying to figure out who was going to be the MVP of this and it really could have been anybody.
And for it to be William Confiris is absolutely awesome because we talked about that I think after game two.
How absolutely special he was and how important he was to this team and it's everybody.
starts with the GM, right?
I mean, Matt Arnold, absolutely incredible job building this team.
And it goes down to everyone in the organization, down to the guy that cuts the sleeves off of the championship shirts before they give them the contraris.
He never has sleeves on.
He is everyone around there just does their job.
And that's, that's just it too.
They just, they do their job.
That's everything that Murphy preaches.
You do your role.
And they all did, and that's why the World Series champions.
I want to say this about the Breweries team and about this run that they've been on for the last decade.
I mean, there's one person that got referenced.
Probably more than anybody else in the interviews and during the year and all the things that have happened broadcast wise and it's Bob Euker And I know that for us, you know being in broadcasting Bob means something a little different to us as people who work in the field As Brewer's fans obviously he's been the soundtrack to our summers for virtually our entire lives And I just can't help but think I mean just what a special moment
it would have been for him had he still been around for this.
But I think the player said it best that he was with them in some capacity with all this.
I just can't imagine the Brewers without Bob Euker.
And now here they are world champions.
And I don't know, they're just something surreal about how this all kind of came together here to culminate in a world championship.
I look forward to Murph getting all the credit he deserves and Churi Okaturas, everybody.
The Miz, like, what an incredible season.
Cooper Pratt, you know, I look back to June.
And do you guys remember a conversation we had like, hey, I don't think Ren Heifo's doing it over there.
Who are we going to call up?
Can you guys believe that that was actually even a conversation at the time?
And like, Cooper Pratt was the name that we kind of settled on.
Holy cow.
That was that was what four months ago.
Look how far four months has gotten us the team What an incredible progression for the young man setting records in his world series.
Gosh, I hope he gets back there at any point in his career
Laura's like that.
He's like that.
I mean, even the guys that have been there for a couple of years, like he's been around a couple of years.
Gary Mitchell, he's just thrilled about the fact that he was able to play in games this year and was able to stay healthy.
It's just they're all so young and I don't see any reason why they can't just be this good for the next couple of years.
And that's a scary thought that this is the start, right?
I'm watching my son Lock in with me for the final out to the world series for jumping around the living room high-fiving each other He did a lap around you know, sorry.
We have everything around our houses, you know, whatever
And I have to tell you, watching an eight-year-old and a 10-year-old experience this, experience their team winning a championship, the word for me is joy.
Joy is the word I have.
It is pure joy to see your team come out on top and do it in just such a way this year where they have been dominant, start to finish this year, 103 wins, two losses in the postseason, records tied, broken, whatever it is, it got it done in every way.
Joy is the word I would use to describe this World Series championship for the Brewers.
